Here are some of the ways you can make a non-monetary donation:
One case of 11×17 paper (2,500 sheets) will make sure that 62 youth get a copy of our latest issue. We print over 600 copies of our publication each month.
One box of 24 pencils, will ensure that 24 kids get to write in our workshops for a month. To donate pencils, please use one of the following links:
One pad of legal paper (50 sheets) will make sure that 50 kids will be able to write for The Beat in workshops each week. To donate writing paper for workshops, please use one of the following links:
Beat facilitators combined, drive an average of 400 miles a week to workshops. That can get expensive at 50.5 cents a mile and the cost of a gallon of gas hovering at just under $4. Gas gift cards would help alleviate some of that burden on our volunteers.
The Beat Within is a CORE Member of the Intersection for the Arts,
which provides fiscal sponsorship, incubation and consulting services to artists and arts organizations throughout the Bay Area. Visit www.theintersection.org.
