How my life changed after coming to JDC was it all happened so quickly, like in a blink of an eye. The day when everything happened, that’s when I started fighting for my freedom.
The first few months here were stressful, overthinking my situation. The food in here is horrible. I’m barely getting used to it till this day. After one year still here, I am waiting to go home to have freedom and to spend time with my family. I will never give up to get a second chance in life. Day by day, I try to get through this nightmare in JDC.
Hopefully, when I have court the judge shows mercy and gives me and my brother another opportunity at life out there with my family. If the judge does give me another opportunity at life out there, I will make changes in my life for the better and to not hang out with the wrong crowd. I will spend more time with my family and actually value my life for my own good.
I would like to make a family and make sure that if I have kids, they don’t go down the path I went down, no matter what. I want to have a happy and wonderful life.
