“It’s easier to fool people then to convince them that they’ve been fooled.” -Samuel Clemens
I get the sense that this quote is more like people not accepting the truth and or are too stubborn to the facts. This is a characteristic I do not tolerate. When I tell someone who I think they really are they tend to get defensive. When you can see through and see them for what they really are they get insecure.
People don’t like to succumb to the fact they are hiding behind a mask fooling themselves thinking they are someone or something they are not. I do not pity people that lie to themselves into a lifestyle of cowardice. There are many people that don’t get to decide their paths. They are simply born into a life. It’s like the old saying: gangstas trying to get out the hood while posers trying get in the hood.
You are from a whole other area but jock the other side. Then people wonder why they homie folded because he ain’t solid to the soil. Many things and circumstances have me looking at this stuff like it’s played out. I am trying to overcome this life and be much more, be something I can only imagine. I want to be able to provide for all my loved ones.
The person I look up to is the future me. I am trying to become the best I can be. I am educating myself to the best of my abilities. I will become a good role model to my younger family members. I sincerely send mines to everybody struggling. I love you.
Man, keep that chin high.
