If I had to teach something, I would try to teach youth that gang banging, and trying to sit on the block or trying to hang out with gang members is not the way to go. Trying to fit in with others that you do not belong with can cost you your life.
What I mean by that is one little situation at the wrong place and wrong time can have you dead or doing life in jail. I know some people have that type of family that makes you grow up in that – not typically grow up in that life – but you end up having that older brother or older cousin that just takes your hand and just end up showing you the roots of how everything works.
And everything that takes place in the street life. And from that person bringing you around everyone, and from you seeing how that person does everything, you could just accidentally fall in that person’s footsteps by just knowing and seeing everything that person does.
You could, and would, just think everything’s normal. And not even knowing you are doing something wrong because of you seeing it normally. And you growing up around it, you would start to feel like that thing is normal.
But you have to start to focus on the things that’s right and focus on the things that are going to help you become something in life. Living that life isn’t going to help you out, nor get you somewhere in life.
I would feel like they need to learn this because it’s a lot of people who’ve gone through things and shouldn’t have to go through them things because of what they’re growing up around, or what their parents or the color of their skin.
Or anything, doesn’t matter. You should be able to still manage to get through these things that happen in life. You shouldn’t let anything stop you from what you are trying to succeed at. Don’t let nothing be the reason you aren’t going to succeed in life.
You gotta face all the obstacles in life and strive for greatness. You gotta still brush the dirt off and keep going forward no matter how the situation is and how everything around is going on. Everyone is going to go through tough times in life.
It depends on how you go through this. And how you deal with the situation. You gotta overcome everything in life, even the bad things. You gotta get through it no matter how you feel about it.
Don’t let no situation hold you back and be the reason you can’t succeed in something. Don’t let nothing stop you. It’s up to you to become successful. You can’t blame nothing or nobody for why you can’t become successful.
And you gotta own up to your own mistakes, and let it be on you and take full responsibility and accountability for your own actions. Get through everything and don’t let nobody mess up what you got going on. Complete what you started and don’t let anyone ruin what you got going on. Get through everything to become successful.
