How to Teach Others to Be Kind

I’ve always been one to lend a hand to people who are in desperate times and needs even though they’ve rarely extended their hands to me.

At times, it kinda sucks because the world would be a better place if everyone looked out for everyone. But, at the end of the day, it’s not gonna be like that. The only way to make it that way is to pay it forward. Lend people your attention and affection and maybe they’ll appreciate it a lot and do it for someone else. That’s the only way to do it because there’s no way to reach everyone on this earth.

I think people can be taught to be kind, but a lot of that comes from early childhood. If you’re born into a household where your parents don’t care, you aren’t gonna be that type of person.

I never had that. I grew up a depressive kid because it was tough at my house. But I was able to learn it even though I didn’t know it as a kid.

If I was able to be in contact with a group of young kids, I could teach young kids about empathy and kindness by telling them that it’s not cool. It’s immature. Make caring look cool. Say a kid loves Dragonball Z. In DZ, the main character is always looking out for others. I’d use him as an example. Naruto is like that, too.

It’s always about that influence. If a kid gets knocked down every time he presents himself as kind, he’ll learn to say “I’m not looking out for nobody.” Sadly, today, that’s what society is. The group has a lot of power.
