The most memorable day I have ever had is when I met my baby momma. We were twelve years old at the movie theaters. She was my love at first sight. I think she felt the same way. We started texting and became a couple. By the age of thirteen she was pregnant. We had a miscarriage at six months along. That really hurt me. I did not know what to do or believe.
We took a break. I was having a hard time taking the loss so I filled my life with drugs and alcohol. Next thing you know I was getting arrested for aggravated burglary. I hurt mainly because I knew I lost her. I got a one-year commitment.
One day I finally got the courage to call her. She answered, but she told me she had a boyfriend. But started crying on how much she missed me. I broke down in tears too.
She said, “I am going to wait for you,” and she did.
At the age of fifteen, I was released. I cut my bracelet and ran back to Roswell, New Mexico, where she was. I was so happy to see her. I got her pregnant again. She is two and half months along and turning sixteen in January. I am still fifteen but in December I was arrested. They were building a case against me. I was off probation thinking I was doing good, but in reality I just was not getting caught. Now I am back in the system missing her so much.
I know deep in my heart she will wait for me. She takes care of herself and helps take care of my two sisters. She does her school work and she just got a job at McDonalds. It is her first job, but I am so proud of her.
I might get treatment for one or two years but with her by my side I am going to do what is best to better myself. That is why that is my memorable day. We have been together going on three and a half years. She is my everything.
