I matter in this life. I was put on this earth to be somebody. Even though I’m in jail, I still matter. My loved ones need me. I will contribute to help out the world. I was meant to be a positive person.
Somebody you can look up to when you need help. There are times in jail when you feel like you don’t matter. You do! Everybody matters. Everybody has a purpose in this life, they just have to find it.
I bring positive energy when I get around people. If anybody ever needs somebody to talk to, I’m willing to talk to them and listen. When I get out of this place, I want to go to college and do something with my life.
There’s more to this world then what you are doing right now. I want to grow up and have a family. Have a beautiful wife and see my kids grow up. I want to teach them right from wrong. You only live once.
Why spend it doing things that can lead you back to jail? When I get old, I want to be able to tell all types of stories about all the amazing things I did in life. I don’t want to be that person saying, “I wish I could do that.”
You got to live life to the fullest. The world has created so many opportunities for people to become somebody. You just have to be willing to put the effort and work in. I don’t know exactly who I’m meant to be, but I know that whatever I end up doing, it’s going to be remembered.
I’m in jail almost nineteen now. This is just the beginning of my life. Once I get through this part in my life, good things will start to get good. I’m not wasting my time on this earth doing dumb stuff. I want to do different things I never done, so I can say I did that. I matter but you also matter too.
