I think about what type of possibilities I could turn out to be in the future. I always think forward in what I want myself to be. I picture myself being an NBA basketball player and building a company to help kids who think this life is the only way. I believe in that dream that I fantasize. I know it’s a small chance that it will come true, but I’ve put my own dreams and my heart on a shelf. It has been up on that shelf for a very long period. I started to realize, you can’t only put your mind into something, you have to put your heart, too.
I’ve been exposed to so many things I wish I would’ve never seen. I believe I can do great things with my life. I sacrificed two years, maybe three or four, depending on how I am when I get transferred to another facility. I am sacrificing that much time to gain a lot more. I’m gaining a better perspective on myself and on how time is very valuable. In addition, getting to explore how many opportunities this world has for me and beginning to understand why I do the things I do.
I’ve come from not knowing anything about myself. When I get out, I’m going to put almost all my time, heart, and sweat into the things I’ve been holding back on. My past has brought me a lot of pain. I’ve shed so many tears. I didn’t know where to go. But, I’m a believe in what I’ve been through and start believing in what I believe in the most. I began to see where I need to go.
Don’t forget what you feel and believe that your dreams are real. I stopped holding everything back. I embraced my dreams and in who I am. I had to sacrifice my old ways to remember that I control my better days. I know they will come, only if I start to believe. I had to take my heart off that shelf and really remember me. I’m a show everyone that ever doubted me. I’m a stop giving my time to feed the stats and fix their problems.
Remember this message, and everything I said because it’s just me speaking the truth. If you can relate, then open your eyes to the real message. If it touches you in any way, then understand or try to see what you’re feeling. Time is valuable. It doesn’t wait for you. Believe in yourself and embrace it because nobody can take it. Stop holding back on your dreams and start to believe they can come true. Remember you only live once, and how you want to spend it. I sacrificed everything, but now I’m ready to start livin’.
There are no limits to a person’s mind, only an inspired heart can be willing to change. From a kid with a message, sincerely.
